Need I say more?

Thursday, October 10, 2002

Sometimes I just reach my breaking point and then I realize I can't take anymore, school wise and everything. Then everything gets better during the day, and then I reach it again. I just have to say I hate group work. It takes 3 people to work hard, and then 1 person to screw up by saying they really memorized their speech when they really haven't memorized it all.

Anyways I went to confirmation class last night. It's really boring but what can I say. They try to make it fun for us but that just results in more time wasted and them yelling at us a lot. School was alright today but yeah I felt like I was at my breaking point at some certain points today. We're not really getting a lot of participation on this blog, so I don't want to make a layout if no ones going to participate. So yeah, if you're a blogger get your fellow bloggers to blog, I'm tired of preaching this to an empty audience. Also I'd appreciate some suggestions with the layouts such as color schemes, font recommendations and where to put where. Anyways I haven't gotten any responses for trades. Does anyone want to trade temporarily? I might trade with Oscar, but no one seems interested. Cmon people!

Homecoming is coming up pretty soon. Around like 2 weeks to go. Anyone have any suggestions to what I should wear? Seriously I have no clue what to wear. And the dancing... I've completely given up on that already. I just figure if I show up there and dance and make an ass of myself it will be more funny and satisfying then practicing for hours and hours and getting the same result. I think homecoming tickets went on sale yesterday. Does anyone have an activity card? I don't want to pay the extra 2 bucks for a ticket just because I don't have an activity card. Anyways I better do my homework now. Have a fun day everyone, and remember that the weekend is just around the corner.

Just finished watching the Just Shoot Me premier. That show is so hillarious. David Spade is the man, whoooo! I was also watching Robin Hood : Men In Tights and that was pretty funny as well. I'm sure everyone else is watching Smallville right now for Kristen Kreuk or perhaps maybe the Clark Kent guy (Oscar <3's this guy).

School has been pretty hectic lately. Today was a half day and I did absolutely nothing, wohoo. I've been trying to work on a new layout for this blog but nothing seems to be looking good. Everything I make for the layout instantly turns into a pile of crap. I'll probably work on it if I ever get some more free time. Other than that I've been practicing guitar a lot lately and hopefully I'll be as good as Albert or Lanz one day. Hah yeah right.

I'm getting pretty tired of my current CD's and mp3's right now and I'm too lazy to spend hours downloading new songs. So with that said, I have a suggestion. I'm willing to trade CD's with people. It's simple, you tell me which CD of mine that you want, and then I'll pick a CD you have, and we'll trade. I have to approve of the CD I want though, and I don't care if its burned just as long as you give me the track listing. I don't have a lot of CD's either but tell me if your interested. Here are all my CD's I have :

Brand New - Your Favorite Weapon
Very good not so typical pop punk CD. Good balance of fast and slow songs. I highly recommend this cd.

Home Grown - Kings of Pop (Uh Julian has it but I'll get it back from him if someone wants it)
Catchy pop punk. Nonetheless, this is still a pretty good CD and there are a lot of good quality songs.

Something Corporate - Audioboxer EP
The Something Corporate debut CD. Some very good songs that aren't on Leaving Through the Window are on here.

Something Corporate - Leaving Through the Window
This CD is just pure awesome. You don't need to be a fan of pop-punk or anything. It's just impressive piano rock.

The Movie Life - Has A Gambling Problem EP
I don't really like this CD. But whatever.

Warped Tour Compilation 2002
50 fricking bands, and 50 fricking songs. Not all the songs are good but there are a lot of quality bands I got into because of this compilation.

Weezer - Maladroit
This CD is merely okay. Has some pretty good songs on it like Burndt Jamb, and December.

Atticus - Dragging the Lake Compilation
This compilation has a variety of bands with lots of talent. Very good compilation. (24 songs)

Vagrant - Another Year in The Streets 2 Compilation
Another compilation, showcasing the best of the Vagrant roster. Check this out if you want to hear some good quality music by some great bands.

Alright well IM me at TheEvilMuffinMan or email me at irving_pham@yahoo.com if you want to trade.
Today was... both a bad and a good day. Not really a regular day. A bad-good day. For example, has anything ever happened to you that was both good AND bad? Okay well I bet your probably wonder "Oscar, what's the damn point?" Well there isn't any! SO HAH!

Went to PC Bang today. Totally pwned. Again, took me a while to get used to the computer, but I think I'm getting pretty well known there. I r0xx0rz their b0xx0rz =D. After that Julian, Mike, Richard, Michael, and I all went to Burger King. And then from Burger King, Julian and I left to Julian's house. And that's where we did homework... and that's pretty much my whole day. I'll make sure to blog more interesting stuff next time. But as for now, this should at least give you something to read.

Mark's a liarrrr

Sunday, October 06, 2002

I have a sensitive side.

Yup, it's true, I do. Hey that rhymes =). I saw Sweet Home Alabama today. It was.... well... sweet =(. Haha, actually it's a "Romantic Comedy". I think it's the first one I've ever seen (I'm not much into romatics). Weirdest thing though, my DAD decided to watch it.

Dad: I heard Sweet Home Alabama is supposed to be cute.
Me: Uhm, so we're NOT watching The Tuxedo?
Dad: 2 Adults, 3 Children for Sweet Home Alabama
Me: Nevermind...

Heh. Anyway, Irving and I have entered a new realm this weekend. Yes, the realm of... get ready for this... ONLINE SHOPPING!!! Like OMG, I KNOW! Yup, ordered myself a this. It's gonna be so cool when I get it. I heard black is my color, heh. Only problem is that, well, since Irving went to the roller rink thing, he wasn't about to ask his Dad to buy him something on the internet. I didn't go to the roller rink though because I wasn't in the mood. Like you know... those moods where you just want to stay home and be by yourself the whole day? No? Well I get those, and yeah, I had one of those days. I'll probably go to the next one though. Oh and yeah, feel better Mark. I TOLD YOU YOU HAD A WEAK LEG!!! See, if you would've exercised it in weights like you were supposed to none of that would've happened! *Starts nagging at Mark* What is your mother gonna say when she finds out about this?
TheEvilMuffinMan (9:53:14 PM): OMG YOU BRKE IT?!?! =O

Yep, that's right. I broke my leg wrestling with Tim. It was just a hairline fracture but it still hurts really bad. :( I guess you guys won't see as active as a Mark as normal. Cya guys tomorrow.... with a cast. :(
on friday something happened which was probably one of the most funniest things that i have ever seen... so let me describe what happened :-). well afterschool i went to the park to play some tennis, i was playing with Jan, Kevin King, and Allan. as stupid as kevin is, he decides to hit the ball really really high, so i run up to the ball, and slam the ball and it goes to the other side and hits kevin's left nut =D. haha, that must have hurt like someone kicking your balls ten times. he must've been holding it for at least a minute. anyways... kevin's balls are okay and so is his dignity.
Roller skating was hillarious last night. Mark and I got there around 7:35pm and I got home at around 10:35pm. The only people who showed up that were Mr. Zuber, his wife and kids, Mark, Jayare, Joyce, Jan, Angie and the girl who is the club leader for FNL (don't know her name). Mark and I were kinda dissapointed people wouldn't show up. There are around 40 people in our FNL club and less than 10 decide to show up? Ouch. Anyways we still had a good time even without a lot of people. There were a bunch of little weiner kids slipping and falling, but there was this one little girl who kept on going into the middle and like... dancing. She was busting out all these spins and crap. On the contrary, there were maybe 4 old guys who skated better than the rest of us. I don't think Mark fell at all, and Jayare didn't fall at all. I fell once and I deserved it. It was a couples only skating session, so I wanted to get off. So out of nowhere this girl is like "Hey, want to be my partner". I said "No" because I thought it would be funny, and headed as fast as I could for an exit. I turned, but there was an old guy, so I had to swirve out of his way and thats when I slipped and fell. I'm still bruised and my knee is feeling a bit odd. There were some other funny moments. Jayare, Mark and I were all sitting around at the snack area and Jayare said "This seems like it's right out of a movie. Us 3 just sitting here and chilling in a roller rink". I told him "Yeah it does seem like a movie but I would be played by Brad Pitt, Mark would be played by some top Hollywood actor, and Jayare would be played some lesser movie star." After that Jayare decided to eat his heart out (2 funnel cakes, 2 hot dogs), and Mark told us how they made the hot dogs. His theory was that every time a kid fell, they left a piece of skin on the rink. So every night the people at the roller rink would get a huge razor, and scrape off the skin flakes. They would then mix the skin flakes with water and something else, and then they would make a hot dog out of it. Some other highlights were when Mark and I played pinball, which they cheated us. The ball kept falling right down the middle, leaving us helpless. Mark also kicked my ass in Bust a Move. It was really fun, but it could have been better if more people showed up. I just hope our next event draws a bigger crowd.
